Instructions
1) Download and install Upgrade 6.2b. You can get it from the download box below these instructions. This upgrade will only work with the full version of DarkBASIC Professional.
2) If you would like to compile the FPS Creator Game Source Code, then you need to download the Upgrade 6.2b Extras pack as well. Unzip the contents into your DarkBASIC Professional folder. It will install new DLLs and source code. If you do not need access to the FPS Creator Game Source, or ODE, then you can skip this part.
3) If you own any of the following plug-ins then you need to download the new versions from your Order History and install them. You will recognise the new plug-ins because the filenames end in v6_2.zip. The plug-ins affected by this Upgrade are: 3D Cloth and Particles. DarkBASIC Professional Enhancement Expansion Pack and Dark A.I.
4) If you have already activated DarkBASIC Professional, you do not need to do this again after installing this Upgrade.
As with any upgrade - always take a backup of your source code (usually your "Projects" folder) before installing. You can access any previous Upgrade on this site, the most recent are: 6.1 and 6.0.

INFORMATION
- Modifications and corrections to permit FPSC source code to compile fully for U6.X
- Requires DLLs to be updated; Cloth&Particle, DarkAI, DarkPHYSICS (anything using DBO ptr)
CORE
- Changed timing precision of TIMER() to just one millisecond, whether vsync active or not
BASIC 3D
- New DBO structure to provide future-proof fields (reduce minor update incompatibilities)
- Optimized SET SHADOW SHADING ON when employing shader conversion = 8 times faster
- Fixed erro causing a runtime error to prompt when using SHOW LIMB on an instanced object
- Added LIMB COLLISION to be used with instanced objects (CSG now okay in FPSC code)
- FX shader files can now be added as media, and detected as an available internal file
CAMERA
- Added ONE new command for the creation and removal of an optional camera clipping plane
- SET CAMERA CLIP Camera Number, ClipOnOff, X, Y, Z, NX, NY, NZ
TEXT
- unpopular negative-value runtime error removed (allows original FPSC code to compile)
